byf refund policyPlayers withdrawing from BYF after registration but before equipment issuance may receive a refund equal to the registration fee paid minus $50.00. BYF plans for and incurs non-recoverable program expenses based upon player registration and equipment issuance. The decision to issue a refund is at the sole discretion of BYF based on the individual circumstances.
All approved refunds will be paid AFTER THE END of the football season, usually in November or December. Exceptions are not considered. Refund requests are accepted only in writing by mail or by email to the addresses indicated below. Equipment deposits will be returned upon timely receipt of all equipment issued in appropriate condition. BYF reserves the right to use all or a portion of a player's equipment deposit if necessary to recover the cost of any equipment that is lost or otherwise not returned. Refund requests must include:

All BYF Players are responsible for their own insurance. BYF recommends that Player's Families obtain appropriate insurance coverage.
BYF does not provide any medical insurance for players. Officers, Directors and Coaches are covered by insurance purchased by Barrington Youth Football, Inc.
