2011 BYF Football Season

2011 Sports Leader Awards

Every year we recognize one player from each team (flag and tackle) with the 2011 Sports Leader Award. At the beginning of the season, we communicated the 2011Sports Leader program to our players, coaches and families. We continued the use of a "Word of the Week" and an associated video to stimulate conversation between coaches and players about important life values and personal characteristics that we are trying to promote in our young athletes. This award recognizes one individual from each team that their teammates recognize as someone that has consistently demonstrated the traits and actions of a Sports Leader.

Congratulations to our 4 Super Bowl Champions

Congratulations to all of our teams on a great season.  We are very proud of all of our teams.  14 of our 21 teams made the playoffs and a record 12 teams played this past weekend in the semifinals. We had 6 teams in Super Bowls and 4 BYF wins!
